Riding off the back of this week’s Pep-Talk on imperfection, I thought we could have fun this weekend having a go at doing something perfectly imperfect.
How to do it:
Choose something that you want to do, but you’ve been putting off doing it for fear of not doing it perfectly
it could be something you used to enjoy doing, but haven’t done it for ages and worry you’ll be rusty and not as good as you once were
it could be something you’ve never tried before and would like to, but deep down you worry that you’ll be rubbish at it
it could be something you have tried a few times before, but weren’t immediately amazing at it and so were put off trying again
Now the challenge is not to simply go and just do it, but to first do it as badly as you possibly can. Like really badly. It’s the invitation to do it really imperfectly that is the liberating part.
