And so for years I struggled with this internal battle. One part of me - a nurturing, nourishing side that longed for me to feel good and be full of vitality - wanted me to focus on looking after myself and practicing self-care. But another part of me - my drive and ambition - didn’t give a damn about how I felt. It just wanted results. And that was the side that always won.

And so for years I powered through, on coffee-fuelled late nights, cramming too much into my days, burning out on repeat.

Until finally I stumbled upon the concept of managing your energy. And it changed everything.

Suddenly my nurturing side and my drive and ambition were all on the same page. And ever since, they have been team mates that work together to help me both feel good and do my best work.
